What is Whale Club?
Whale Club is StakePoint's holder rewards program. Anyone holding 1M or more SPT tokens qualifies for monthly SPT distributions funded entirely by platform buybacks. No staking lockup required, no minimum activity threshold. If you hold the tokens, you qualify.
Rewards are split among all qualifying members based on a scoring system that values three things: how much SPT you hold, how actively you use StakePoint, and how much you promote the platform on social media.
The leaderboard updates daily and shows estimated rewards in real time. At the end of each month, SPT from the reward pool is distributed to all qualifying wallets proportionally.

How Rewards Work
Every pool creation, staking fee, and lock fee generates platform revenue. A portion of that revenue is used to purchase SPT from the open market, creating buy pressure on the chart. That purchased SPT flows into the Whale Club reward pool.
At the end of each month, the reward pool is distributed to all qualifying members based on their weighted leaderboard score. A per-wallet cap of 15% prevents any single member from taking a disproportionate share.

What is Whale Club?

How much SPT do I need to join?
You need a minimum of 1,000,000 SPT tokens. This includes SPT held in your wallet and SPT staked in any pool on StakePoint. Connect your wallet on the Whale Club page to check your qualification status.
How is my score calculated?
Your score has three components. Holdings (30% weight) is based on your total SPT balance with square root scaling and a cap to keep distribution fair. Platform activity (40% weight) counts your active stakes, locks, unique pool participation, swaps, and membership duration. Social activity (30% weight) is earned by submitting original tweets that tag @StakePointApp, verified by URL and manually reviewed.
What are the rewards paid in?
Rewards are paid in SPT tokens. The reward pool is funded by platform buybacks. StakePoint uses a portion of platform fee revenue to purchase SPT from the open market, and that purchased SPT is distributed to Whale Club members monthly based on their leaderboard scores.
How does the holdings cap work?
Holdings are scored using square root scaling with a cap at 50M SPT. This means someone holding 50M SPT and someone holding 300M SPT receive the same holdings score. The system rewards larger bags but prevents any single holder from dominating the reward pool. A per-wallet cap of 15% of the total distribution provides an additional fairness guarantee.
How do I earn social points?
Register your X/Twitter username on the Whale Club page, then create original tweets that tag @StakePointApp. Submit the tweet URL through the dashboard. Each tweet must be from your registered account, less than 14 days old, and at least 50 characters excluding the tag. Submissions are manually reviewed before points are awarded. You can submit up to 7 tweets per week.
Do I need to be active on the page to earn rewards?
No. Holdings and platform activity scores recalculate automatically for all members, including those who do not visit the page regularly. Social points require submitting tweets, but your holdings and staking activity are tracked from on-chain and database data regardless of whether you visit Whale Club.
When are rewards distributed?
Rewards are distributed monthly. Throughout the month, the leaderboard shows estimated reward amounts based on current scores and the reward pool balance. At month end, the final distribution is calculated and SPT is sent to qualifying wallets.
What is Whale Chat?
Whale Chat is a private messaging channel built into the Whale Club page. Only verified holders with 1M or more SPT can access it. You prove wallet ownership by signing a transaction (no SOL is sent) to unlock the chat. It provides a space for top holders to discuss strategy and connect directly.
Is Whale Club the same as staking?
No. Staking on StakePoint earns APR rewards from specific staking pools. Whale Club is a separate rewards program that distributes SPT from platform buybacks to qualifying holders based on their overall engagement score. You can participate in both simultaneously, and active stakes contribute to your Whale Club platform activity score.
